Assistant Server

About This Role

The Fairbanks assistant server keeps the dining room clean and assists servers in providing a high level of guest service at Hollywood Casino Aurora.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course
• Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed
• Observe local health and sanitation codes
• Make coffee and tea as required
• Perform all assigned side work
• Assist servers in garnishing and decorating dishes preparatory to serving
• Deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests

Requirements

• Must be age 21
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests
• Certificate of Food and Service Sanitation/willing to obtain
• Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
