Assistant Security Manager

About This Role

This role involves managing security services and related operations for an assigned group of accounts within a private university environment. The Assistant Security Manager will provide lead direction to Security Supervisors and acts as a liaison between Securitas and the client.

Responsibilities

• Manage security services and related operations for assigned accounts, ensuring client service and problem resolution.
• Provide lead direction to Security Supervisors on requirements, priorities of work, and coordination of site needs.
• Supervise Shift Supervisors and Officers directly, ensuring post orders are followed and tours are completed.
• Act as a liaison between Securitas and the client in the absence of the Security Services Director.
• Observe and report activities and incidents to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Prepare and coordinate staffing and scheduling, working to reduce overtime.
• Assist in the training of Security Officers and review of post orders.
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with authorized Client representatives to ensure all security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• Perform project management as assigned by the Security Services Director or client representative.

Requirements

• Experience in Operations Manager, Site Supervisor or Account Manager roles
