This role is for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to oversee subcontractors on-site, manage all site paperwork, and support small commercial construction projects, primarily based out of Gaithersburg, MD.
Responsibilities
- Oversee subcontractors from the project site trailer
- Manage site paperwork, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Utilize AutoCAD cloud software for project management
- Coordinate with owners and contractors in the field
- Support small commercial construction projects
Requirements
- Field project management experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD cloud software
- Experience in project management, construction, and construction management
- Proficiency in change order management, RFIs, and project coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction documentation and blueprints
Qualifications
- Experienced Assistant Project Manager with field project management experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience in project estimation and engineering
- Experience in small commercial construction projects
