About This Role

Northeastern University is seeking a full-time Teaching Professor for Architectural Professional Practice and Real Estate. This role involves teaching professional practice, urban and real estate development seminars, and design studios to undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to a newly developed Architecture and Business combined major.

Responsibilities

  • Teach two or three courses per fall and spring semesters (4-6 courses per academic year) at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Contribute to the cultural life and function of the school through service commitments on committees, special projects, and student advising and engagement activities
  • Work with global student populations

Requirements

  • Terminal professional degree in architecture (M.Arch)
  • Licensed architect

Qualifications

  • Terminal professional degree in architecture (M.Arch)
  • At least five years of academic or equivalent experience for Associate level

Nice to Have

  • Master of Business Administration degree (MBA)
  • Prior teaching experience in architectural professional practice and real estate
