Assistant Manager

About This Role

The Assistant Manager at Domino's is responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing product quality and inventory, and training team members to meet Domino's standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone and assist carryout customers politely and knowledgeably
• Maintain perfect image according to standard
• Demonstrate customer WOW steps (Apologize, Give them what they want, Give them something extra)
• Count pepperoni and ham on every order daily
• Ensure proper pizza making procedures are followed
• Confirm accuracy of every order by repeating and confirming name and address
• Take responsibility for all results in assigned stores
• Ensure food, labor, and service goals are within targets
• Review P&L with direct supervisor monthly
• Work a minimum 50-hour week with one day off and one on call day
• Ensure all stores meet or exceed minimum TIPS and Domino’s Pizza Standards
• Ensure all stores are staffed and team members are trained
• Maintain repair and maintenance in all stores
• Implement all new products or ideas seamlessly
• Ensure all stores run at a minimum 4-star level
• Perform self OER’s (Operational Evaluation Report) during the first week of each period and implement corrections
• Complete evaluations and raises as needed and notify D.O.
• Follow through on all assignments and ensure all reports and paperwork are turned in timely
• Ensure all reports and paperwork at the store level are complete and accurate
• Know all product and operational standards
• Follow all safety and security procedures and ensure equipment is in working order
• Maintain store budgets
• Prepare and deliver all school lunches within required standards
• Provide accurate and detailed accountability and ensure a paper trail exists
• Ensure all equipment is available and utilized correctly
• Perform inventory checks on each store each month
• Utilize and maintain systems checklist and visit books

Requirements

• Ability to answer phone and assist carryout customers politely and courteously
• Knowledgeable of Domino's menu
• Ability to maintain perfect image according to standard
• Knowledge and demonstration of customer WOW steps (Apologize, Give them what they want, Give them something extra)
• Strict adherence to product preparation standards (e.g., counting toppings)
• Adherence to cash handling rules (not carrying more than $20)
• Commitment to safe driving practices for delivery drivers
• Adherence to food safety procedures (e.g., hand washing)
• Completion of Safe Delivery CBT (Computer Based Training) for drivers
• Ability to ensure order accuracy through repetition and confirmation
• Responsibility for store results and meeting goals (food, labor, service)
• Experience with P&L review
• Availability for a minimum 50-hour work week with one day off and one on call day
• Ability to ensure stores meet or exceed TIPS and Domino’s Pizza Standards
