About This Role

This role involves assisting in the daily oversight and execution of objectives related to sales, costs, employee retention, customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation within a Domino's Pizza store. The Assistant Manager will ensure brand standards are met and foster a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and training initiatives to effectively manage the store in the General Manager's absence
  • Ensure customers feel welcome and team members are responsive, courteous, friendly, and service-oriented
  • Supervise that food and products are consistently prepared and served according to brand standards
  • Assist other team members with opening, closing, and preparation tasks
  • Actively manage others by working hands-on in preparing food, servicing customers, and overseeing delivery coordination
  • Support company and store objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness through employee training and creating a positive working environment
  • Control cash by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
  • Fill in where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations
  • Assist in product management, confirming correct unit count and condition, and performing deliveries according to brand standards
  • Identify labor or food cost issues and implement actions to impact those figures positively
  • Assist in scheduling labor based on anticipated business activity while guaranteeing positions are staffed and labor cost objectives are achieved
  • Provide suggestions and recommendations to General and Regional Managers

Requirements

  • Ability to pass applicable Company background checks

  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Ability to take orders over the counter or phone
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Ability to make correct monetary change
  • Ability to lead the team on duty
