Assistant Manager

About This Role

This Assistant Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of a shift, including cost control, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations, while setting a positive example for the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations during your shift including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations
• Set the example by following all company policies and procedures 100% of the time
• Ensure all crew members adhere to company policy and procedures
• Handle staffing, paperwork, food management, and scheduling
• Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to image standards
• Provide great customer service
• Assist with marketing and contribute to profitability
• Operate all equipment, stock ingredients, and prepare products
• Receive and process telephone and in-person orders
• Conduct inventory and complete associated paperwork

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willing and able to work during times of inclement weather
• Willing to open and close
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
• Ability to make correct monetary change
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
