The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports daily maintenance operations for multifamily properties, ensuring efficient functioning of systems and equipment. This role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, addressing service requests, and helping to lead the maintenance team to ensure resident satisfaction and property standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders promptly, ensuring quality service and adherence to guarantees.
- Perform maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structures.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment, tools, and common areas in top condition.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features are in working order.
- Work independently while following company standards, demonstrating attention to detail, and maintaining a commitment to resident satisfaction.
- Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
- Support the team with other duties as needed to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- HVAC certification
