About This Role

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents, ensuring quality care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company standards. This role involves 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department, assuming clinical operations responsibilities in the Director of Nursing's absence.

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents
• Ensure Nursing Services align with physician orders and total resident needs
• Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services
• Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care
• Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON)

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
