Assembly Technician

About This Role

Operate equipment, maintain inventory records, and ensure production meets required specifications as an Assembly Technician. This full-time onsite contact role is located in Redwood City, California.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods
• Maintain inventory records of raw materials and keep accurate and up-to-date records/data sheets for materials in process
• Perform in-process tests to ensure production meets required specifications, such as hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content
• Recognize equipment malfunctions or product deficiencies and troubleshoot errors to maintain optimal production levels
• Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics
• Prepare and monitor master schedules by coordinating activities with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel
• Match workload, manning, and equipment capacity to existing inventory
• Requisition materials after determining delivery dates

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant work experience or vocational training
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
