Area Veterinarian

About This Role

This Area Veterinarian role offers the flexibility of relief work with the stability of a full-time position, providing high-quality patient care, fostering client relationships, and supporting newer veterinarians within a designated region.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, including wellness, emergency, and surgical services
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and support staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and clear communication
• Support and mentor newer veterinarians when needed
• Travel within a designated region

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Minimum of 3 years of general practice (GP) experience OR successful completion of an internship plus at least 1 year of GP experience
• Surgical and dental experience

Qualifications
