Area Representative

About This Role

The Area Representative works to implement the ministry plan for the assigned area, ensuring a consistent approach to discipleship within FCA Sports Environments. This role ensures the ministry adheres to biblical standards and FCA policies, while providing spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes.

Responsibilities

• Implement the ministry plan for the assigned area according to FCA Vision, Mission, and Values
• Ensure consistent discipleship in FCA Sports Environments by making disciples who make disciples
• Conduct ministry according to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures
• Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and example
• Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and Events
• Oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers
• Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team
• Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners
• Manage and steward finances for the assigned area and execute an annual budget and funding plan
• Serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going

Requirements

• Agreement with and adherence to FCA's Christian Community Statement
• Commitment to a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study
• Participation in a local church through worship and weekly involvement
• Adherence to biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs
