Area Representative

About This Role

This role involves implementing the ministry plan for an assigned area, working closely with the Director and Advisory Team to further the FCA Vision, Mission, and Values. The representative ensures consistent discipleship within FCA Sports Environments, focusing on making disciples who in turn make more disciples, all while adhering to biblical standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director and Advisory Team to implement the ministry plan for the assigned area
• Ensure consistent approach to discipleship in FCA Sports Environments
• Ensure ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies
• Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement
• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study
• Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes
• Connect to and participate in a local church
• Conduct oneself in a manner affirming biblical standards of conduct
• Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and Events
• Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes
• Oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers
• Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team
• Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners
• Manage and steward finances for the assigned area
• Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan
• Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going

Requirements

• Ability to follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study
• Capability to lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership
• Participation in a local church through worship and weekly involvement
• Conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs
• Ability to engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes
• Skills to recruit, train, and develop volunteers
• Ability to engage with an Advisory Team
• Skills in donor cultivation and financial stewardship
