Lead architectural and interior design projects, collaborating with clients and teams to produce effective designs and manage project workflow within a Houston-based firm specializing in education and faith-based community projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of projects by working closely with MHPA staff, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Produce drawings, models, and renders to effectively communicate designs to clients and the entire project team
- Lead the development of project interiors and the selection of finishes by working closely with client committees, vendors, and trade partners
- Assist with project management, including managing budgets, schedules, and workflow
- Assist with Construction Documents and Construction Administration
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in architecture
- Excellent architectural and interior design skills
- Strong creative abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Sketchup, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in architecture, ideally with education and faith-based projects
Nice to Have
- Architectural license or license track experience
- Experience with education and faith-based projects
