This role involves providing development and technical support for the ConEd ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications. The developer will work on minor enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and administer ArcGIS Enterprise components.
Responsibilities
- Provide development and technical support to ConEd ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications
- Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#)
- Support ConED Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests
- Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites
- Perform system monitoring and performance tuning of the systems
- Publish services and administer user roles and privileges
- Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
- Be flexible with support hours from 9 AM up to 9 PM EST and weekend on a rotational base
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems reported by end users of the enterprise applications
- Provide status of tickets to the client SME
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications
- 5-10 years experience in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications
- Development and coding experience using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#)
- Experience in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites
- Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning of GIS systems
- Ability to publish services and administer user roles and privileges
- Ability to coordinate with other teams (server support, security, DBA)
- Ability to understand requirements and support team, share best practices/lessons learned
- Experience with account administration & troubleshooting
- Experience with administration and testing of Enterprise GIS and Database Projects
- Experience in Application Administration and Support Analyst roles
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Developer, ArcGIS > ArcMap
- Experience as ArcGIS Server administrator, and with ArcGIS Server, Portal
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcMap
- Experience with maintenance of GIS software ArcGIS and ArcSDE
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications and administrating/supporting ArcFM applications
