About This Role

The Applications Architect bridges business needs and technical execution by defining application architectures and best practices. This role ensures scalable, secure, and maintainable systems while administering and supporting key business applications like Infor Syteline and InforOS.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain business system environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security, including Infor Syteline, InforOS, FactoryTrack, CPQ, and EPM.
Perform SQL Server administration tasks, including monitoring, backups, security, and performance tuning.
Support Microsoft SharePoint administration, focusing on managing security, access controls, and site configuration.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
Develop and maintain customizations, reports, and extensions for Syteline applications using .NET languages and SQL.
Partner with IT and business teams to enhance system functionality and support process automation.
Provide architectural guidance to development teams throughout the software lifecycle.
Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in application architecture, software development, or enterprise application support
Proficiency in SQL Server administration (backups, security, tuning, queries)
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, particularly in managing security and access
Experience with .NET programming languages (C#, VB.NET, etc.) and SQL development
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field (or equivalent experience)
7 years of experience in application architecture, software development, or enterprise application support.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Infor product administration
