Join the Vascular Surgery team at Renown Health as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role involves providing first assistance in surgeries, rounding on hospital patients, and managing outpatient clinics for post-operative follow-up and new consult patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide first assistance on all surgeries
- Evaluate, consult, and round on patients in the hospital
- Work in the outpatient clinic for post-operative follow-up
- See new consult patients in the outpatient clinic
- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation with other APPs
- Foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
Requirements
- RNFA Certification (for NPs)
- 1st Assist Certified
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ Vascular Surgery Assist experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Minimum of 2 years’ Vascular Surgery Assist experience
