APP Fellowship Peds Developmental

About This Role

The APP Fellow, functioning within a pediatric developmental ambulatory setting, collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to manage the needs of the identified patient population.

Responsibilities

• Function primarily in the clinic managing the needs of the identified pediatric developmental population
• Work closely with outpatient testing groups, case management, and the social work team
• Manage outpatient care as part of a service-aligned team
• Ensure an environment of safe quality care based on evidence-based practice and education
• Demonstrate advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, and sound clinical judgment
• Maintain professionalism in interpersonal and general communication skills
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation
• Take responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation

Requirements

• MSN for Nurse Practitioners or BS for Physician Assistants
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
