About This Role

This Anesthesia Technician role involves working closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to ensure every procedure is safe and smooth. The position plays a key role in equipment readiness, patient support, and creating a safe, comfortable surgical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for team needs
  • Set up, transport, and maintain anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
  • Assist patients with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
  • Act quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
  • Keep the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
  • Communicate openly with patients, families, and team, protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

Requirements

  • High school graduate with good reading and writing skills
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (within 30 days of employment)

Qualifications
