About This Role

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures within an Ambulatory Surgery Center, coordinating total patient care with other healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct responsibility and accountability for the care of the patient during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the Peri-Operative phase
• Coordinate total patient care in coordination with other health care team members
• Function as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient's Rights
• Demonstrate professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for nursing practice
• Serve as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care
• Assist in providing direction of support staff

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 1 year of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• 1 year of nursing experience
