Ambassador

About This Role

This part-time role as an Ambassador involves engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to live out the FCA Vision, Mission, and Values within Christian sports environments. The Ambassador will implement a consistent approach to discipleship, making disciples who make disciples.

Responsibilities

• Serve 15 hours or less each week in a defined area
• Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes to fulfill the FCA Vision, Mission, and Values
• Implement a consistent approach to discipleship in FCA Sports Environments
• Ensure the FCA ministry adheres to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures
• Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement
• Maintain a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study
• Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, and worship
• Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement
• Conduct oneself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct
• Engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes, and volunteers through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and Events
• Work alongside supervisor to train and equip volunteers for discipleship
• Recruit, train, and develop a diverse group of volunteers in assigned Sports Environment(s)
• Potentially engage in support raising by connecting, communicating, and caring for donors
• Work alongside supervisor to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going

• Agreement with and abiding by FCA's Christian Community Statement
• Ability to follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study
• Ability to lead and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes
• Connection to and participation in a local church
