About This Role

Provide exceptional phone-based technical support to customers for agricultural equipment and technology, primarily John Deere products. Diagnose issues, guide solutions, and ensure efficient operation of customer equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers and locations with technical information and support on equipment.
  • Deliver superior phone support for agricultural equipment and technology, primarily John Deere product lines.
  • Assist customers and internal employees by troubleshooting issues and guiding them toward effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with a team of specialists to share knowledge and resolve complex problems.
  • Log and manage all customer interactions in Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Answer inbound customer calls and initiate the resolution process for equipment and technology issues.
  • Build strong relationships with manufacturer partners to ensure information is shared.
  • Compile, review, and disseminate technical data.
  • Develop a quality control system including metrics for tracking performance expectations.
  • Propose training initiatives based on information collected through phone support.
  • Work with parts and service departments to obtain technical information from OEMs.
  • Assist in monitoring PIPs for the region and work with service management for timely completion.
  • Maintain a database of technical solutions and share with service departments.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with store service management.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of call center operations
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers, store personnel, and management
  • Ability to evaluate and assess operations and respond to changing needs
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Valid work authorization in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Qualifications

  • Industry experience preferred.
