Aerial Lineperson

About This Role

The Aerial Lineperson will be responsible for the daily planning and execution of aerial and underground fiber construction, ensuring proper installation to industry standards. This role involves operating specialized equipment and providing guidance to team members to achieve construction goals while adhering to safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bucket trucks and/or other types of lifts
• Setup and operate cable placing equipment such as Larson reels, fiber blowers, cable tuggers, cable rollers, and single or double lashing tools
• Install strand and applicable hardware
• Place fiber optic, coax cables, and traceable wires
• Track and communicate daily production and materials

Requirements

• Ability to climb utility poles using climbing spikes and rigging
• Experience operating and performing work in a bucket truck
• Proficient in new build and pole transfers
• Knowledge in building strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven and a clear driver’s abstract

Qualifications

• One year of directly related experience working as a Lineperson or equivalent position
