About This Role

Volunteer as an Adult Literacy Tutor to help adult learners improve their reading and writing skills, making a significant impact on their lives and contributing to community strengthening.

Responsibilities

Help adults improve their reading and writing skills
Meet with learners in a safe and caring learning environment
Commit 1-2 hours per week for at least 6 months
Utilize provided training and materials to be a successful volunteer

Requirements

Commitment for 1-2 hours per week for at least 6 months

Qualifications

No previous teaching experience or educational background required

Nice to Have

Zoom experience for online tutoring
