Volunteer as an Adult Literacy Tutor to help adult learners improve their reading and writing skills, making a significant impact on their lives and contributing to community strengthening.
Responsibilities
- Help adults improve their reading and writing skills
- Meet with learners in a safe and caring learning environment
- Commit 1-2 hours per week for at least 6 months
- Utilize provided training and materials to be a successful volunteer
Requirements
- Commitment for 1-2 hours per week for at least 6 months
Qualifications
- No previous teaching experience or educational background required
Nice to Have
- Zoom experience for online tutoring
