Admission Representative - Outpatient

About This Role

This role is responsible for the accurate registration of patients, verifying benefits, and collecting payments at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. The representative ensures an efficient and timely patient registration process while maintaining strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately register all patients obtaining services at Comanche County Memorial Hospital
• Gather and enter patient information into the computer from patients and physician offices
• Verify benefits for pre-registered and non pre-registered patients
• Obtain signatures on required forms
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance from patients at the time of service
• Ensure an efficient, complete, and timely patient registration process
• Model the customer service philosophy of Comanche County Memorial Hospital

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) preferred
• Two or more years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
