About This Role

This role supports daily office operations for BGS Planning and Property Management, overseeing invoice processes, purchase requisitions, and inventory management. The coordinator will address routine issues and perform various administrative duties, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily office operations for BGS Planning and Property Management (PPM) Operations
  • Oversee invoice coding and approval process
  • Enter and submit purchase requisitions in the VTBuys system for contract and product payments
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Address routine issues related to office operations
  • Resolve problems as they arise
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of full-time college coursework OR an Associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field
  • OR One (1) or more years of full-time college coursework in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization
  • OR High school diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization
  • OR One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Technician IV with the State of Vermont
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of full-time college coursework OR an Associate's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or closely related field.
  • Minimum with an Associate's degree, or 1 year with some college coursework, or 2 years with a high school diploma, or 1 year as an Administrative Services Technician IV with the State of Vermont.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with the VISION system (State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) for some positions
