About This Role

This role involves providing quality special education services to K-12 students, including instruction, tutorial assistance, and collaboration with general education staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12
  • Participate in planning and implementation of student programs
  • Provide special instruction and tutorial assistance
  • Consult with general education staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

Certifications

Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations (Required) State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred (Required) State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred (Required) State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred (Required) Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred (Required) Current CPR if applicable (Required) TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable (Required) Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) (Required)
