This role involves completing complex actuarial studies and projects, including obtaining and analyzing data for risk reporting and forecasting, calculating claims liability reserves, and preparing Department of Insurance statements.
Responsibilities
- Obtain, verify, analyze and model data including risk reporting and forecasting
- Calculate monthly claims liability reserves
- Develop merit rating factors
- Prepare Department of Insurance annual statement exhibits
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams
- Minimum of 1 year related experience
