About This Role

Assist the Activities Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activities and recreational services that fulfill the individual needs and interests of residents in a senior living facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Activities Director in the assessment of residents' needs and interests
  • Assist in the selection of appropriate activities and recreational services
  • Assist in the organization of activities and recreational services
  • Assist in the implementation of activities and recreational services

Requirements

  • Passion for working with seniors
  • Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred. One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred.
