Assist the Activities Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activities and recreational services that fulfill the individual needs and interests of residents in a senior living facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Activities Director in the assessment of residents' needs and interests
- Assist in the selection of appropriate activities and recreational services
- Assist in the organization of activities and recreational services
- Assist in the implementation of activities and recreational services
Requirements
- Passion for working with seniors
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred. One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred.
