Lead high-visibility initiatives supporting government acquisition strategy and mission-critical capability development. This role requires strategic engagement across multiple directorates, providing expert guidance on acquisition planning, technical lifecycle management, and execution frameworks aligned to national GEOINT priorities, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional coordination efforts for developing and enhancing operational capabilities across the enterprise
- Offer expert-level advice on acquisition strategies, lifecycle program management, and system modernization planning
- Provide oversight and guidance in project financials, risk assessments, technical planning, and schedule control to drive optimal program performance
- Draft and manage key acquisition documentation including interagency agreements, funding requests, and technical scopes of work
- Translate mission objectives into executable program roadmaps while ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and strategic priorities
- Engage stakeholders to communicate program direction, identify risks, and drive collaborative solutions
- Ensure accuracy and alignment of acquisition plans, CONOPS, architecture products, and system roadmaps with mission outcomes
- Apply lean and agile methodologies (including SAFe) to streamline program delivery, increase efficiency, and reduce time to capability
- Contribute to strategic decision-making processes, POM and budget planning, and IT portfolio integration
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using approved program management systems and collaboration tools
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with a current SSBI
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Minimum 2 years in acquisition or program management, with direct experience overseeing cost, schedule, performance, and risk
- PMP or DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management

Nice to Have
- Strong background in cost estimation, pricing analysis, and financial planning
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community acquisition frameworks
- Experience managing a variety of contract types (e.g., CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ)
- Applied knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and Lean Six Sigma practices
- Proven success blending Agile and Waterfall approaches for program execution and transition-to-operations
- Familiarity with geospatial intelligence operations and mission requirements
- Experience performing technical validation and verification to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards
- Understanding of Configuration Management (CM) practices within the IC or DoD
- Ability to develop and assess system-level roadmaps, perform AoAs (Analysis of Alternatives), and guide technical work scopes toward operational success
