Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist

About This Role

Process timely and accurate client invoices, manage collection efforts, assist with accounts payable, and handle employee expense reports for an entertainment industry client.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute timely and accurate client invoices in accordance with contractual requirements and Company policies
• Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries; investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and assist with Graphite set up
• Lead collection efforts related to open receivable balance
• Assist with processing accounts payable
• Handle Netflix reporting semi-annual & Project Green Measure quarterly
• Prepare bank deposits and process cash receipts
• Maintain Bank Reconciliation
• Maintain daily cash in accounts for CNB and JP Morgan
• Maintain A/R and reporting
• Process employee expense reports, ensure compliance with Company policy, and prepare journal entries
• Help prepare for month end close
• Support audit as necessary

Requirements

• Minimum two years of prior contract billing experience
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting and account structure
• Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and on multiple assignments with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or work experience equivalent
• Minimum two years of prior contract billing experience

Nice to Have

• Entertainment industry background
• Experience with SAP accounting
• Knowledge of Graphite Connect
