Join a mission-driven team as an Education Champion to provide academic assistance in Math and English Language Arts to 4th and 5th-grade students in small groups, making a meaningful impact on urban students' academic success.
Responsibilities
- Push into Math & ELA classrooms for 4th & 5th Grades within small groups
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy, and exam prep
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies
- Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need
- Participate in monthly training
Requirements
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field
- Committed to supporting academic and personal success for underserved and bilingual students
- Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training
- Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors
Qualifications
