2nd Shift Forklift Operator - Warehouse

About This Role

Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up deep reach forklift to move products within a refrigerated and freezer warehouse environment, ensuring accurate inventory management and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up deep reach forklift to safely move raw and finished goods throughout the warehouse
• Pick, pull, and stage orders accurately according to production and customer requirements
• Load and unload trailers while ensuring product integrity and minimizing damage
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, labeling, and placement of products
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, equipment checks, and warehouse safety protocols
• Keep work areas clean and organized, supporting overall warehouse housekeeping standards
• Work in cold environments, including freezer areas at 0°F or below and production areas near 40°F
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members to support smooth warehouse operations
• Report equipment or product issues promptly to prevent downtime or quality concerns
• Support overtime needs as required, including work before or after scheduled shifts and some Saturdays

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience operating a stand-up deep reach forklift
• Ability to read and follow picking/staging orders and basic inventory documentation
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching
• Comfort working in cold environments, including freezers at 0°F or below and production areas around 40°F
• Willingness to work required shift schedule, including overtime and some Saturdays

• Demonstrated experience operating a stand-up deep reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
