Join a dynamic team of Parkour Coaches to create safe and positive learning environments for youth, helping them develop physical skills, creativity, and confidence through parkour and movement training.
Responsibilities
- Lead parkour classes, workshops, and private lessons, primarily for youth participants ages 6-13
- Demonstrate proper techniques, movements, and safety procedures
- Set up and take down equipment for each session
- Develop and update lesson plans and curriculum for various skill levels and age groups
- Incorporate progressive training methods focusing on skill acquisition, strength, and creative expression
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants, leading warm-ups, cool-downs, and progressions
- Provide individualized feedback and coaching, fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere
- Maintain accurate attendance records and class curriculum
- Report any injuries or incidents according to guidelines
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and administrators regarding program updates and progress
Requirements
- Passion for parkour coaching
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages, primarily youth ages 6-13
- Understanding of parkour techniques, movements, and safety procedures
