This Youth Care Specialist will provide supervision, support, and guidance to youth in a residential program, ensuring their physical and physiological needs are met. The role involves scheduling activities, maintaining a safe environment, and completing required documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, support, and guidance to youth under care
- Build therapeutic relationships with youth
- Engage with youth in the program
- Provide direction, structure, and support for youth's physical and physiological needs
- Schedule and participate in activities
- Ensure physical milieus remain clean and safe
- Complete daily documentation as required by regulatory standards
- Transport clients as needed for appointments and activities
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software
Qualifications
- High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience working in a residential youth or adult operation or related experience working in the field of child and family services.
