Assemble and test components according to specifications, ensuring quality documentation and safe operations. Utilize mechanical experience and material handling equipment to support workshop activities.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test assemblies per TechnipFMC specifications
- Complete required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
- Clean components after assembly per specifications and instructions
- Input labor details in time tracking system and charge time to projects
- Participate in Lean events with active involvement in CISP initiatives
- Use material handling equipment to move parts and components
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and practice good housekeeping
- Learn procedures and practices safety to prepare for next level
- Assist other Assemblers as assigned in more advanced functions as part of training
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Clear understanding of general math
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Ability to comprehend engineering and weld drawings
- Ability to use personal computer and/or workstation
- Two years mechanical experience
- Ability to operate High Torque Wrenches, Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, Forklifts, and Rigging
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as tapes, rulers and pressure gauges
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
