Welder - Fabricator

About This Role

Join a leading manufacturing solutions provider as a Welder-Fabricator, responsible for precisely welding and fabricating metal parts according to blueprint specifications using various welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate parts according to blueprint specifications
• Fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal parts using MIG/TIG/FLUX and/or Stick process
• Set-up, adjust and prepare punch/laser combinations of jobs
• Join and repair metal and other welding materials using appropriate welding techniques
• Utilize measuring equipment such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, micrometers to ensure quality work
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or workpiece as guides for welding
• Verify conformance of finished workpiece to blueprint specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Operate and observe to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions and adjust machine controls as required

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a 3G weld test
• TIG welding: 3 years experience
• MIG Welding: 2 years experience
• Metal Fabrication: 2 years experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience
• Proficiency in welding

Qualifications

• Entry level

Nice to Have

• MIG welding: 3 years experience
• Sheet Metal: 1 year experience
• Fabrication: 1 year experience
