About This Role

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft, ensuring all work adheres to appropriate manuals and regulations. The Lead Technician will also train, coach, and support other employees.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements
  • Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures and participate in 5-S activities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
  • Perform and document work per appropriate manuals and regulations
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations and other maintenance disciplines
  • Assist with fuel and / or de-fuel of aircraft and engine/APU removal/installation
  • Assist in providing time estimates and performing complex repairs on aircraft systems
  • Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems
  • Train, coach and support other employees
  • May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA

Requirements

  • 8+ years of aircraft maintenance work experience
  • 2+ years’ corporate / commercial jet experience
  • 1+ year Bombardier aircraft model experience
  • Engine Run & Taxi qualified on Bombardier Aircraft or Delegated Inspector eligible
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Demonstrated planning / organization skills
  • Familiarity with all systems installations of Bombardier aircraft model

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance work experience, including 2 years of corporate/commercial jet experience and 1 year of Bombardier aircraft model experience.
