About This Role

The Laser Operator takes on a processing role, responsible for producing finished parts while working as part of a team and independently to meet production goals. This role requires operating laser equipment and other fabricating machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals
  • Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects
  • Read and process written communication including work orders and measurements
  • Work independently and under close supervision
  • Demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems
  • Rotate to other production positions as needed
  • Operate appropriate equipment including fabricating machinery and crane
  • Physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds
  • Possess successful problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, and customers
  • Work under physically and mentally stressful situations
  • Prioritize and easily adapt to changes throughout the day

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year manufacturing/industry experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills (English)

  • Production competency and knowledge of production systems
