The Weekday Counselor assists the Supervisor and Service Coordinator in delivering direct services to clients and supporting the overall site operations. This role provides various services from skill teaching to counseling for clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to clients as needed
- Provide direct care services to clients
- Complete necessary and required documentation in a timely manner
- Perform unit inspections and provide support and education to clients regarding maintaining clean, safe living environments
- Monitor medications as needed
- Collaborate with Service Coordinators regarding client concerns, including issues related to apartment maintenance or ADL skills
- Attend weekly supervision and staff meetings
- Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in a similar role
