Assist in the development, management, and execution of testing-related deliverables for the Loyalty Systems Team, ensuring the quality of applications through careful testing.
Responsibilities
- Read Use Case or Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
- Decompose requirements into testing scenarios and test cases
- Create test plans
- Create test cases
- Execute test cases
- Create and report defects
- Write Test Plan / Approach
- Write Defects
Requirements
- Ability to read Use Cases or BRD (Business Requirements)
- Ability to decompose requirements into scenarios/Test Cases
- Experience creating Test Plans
- Experience creating Test Cases
- Experience executing Test Cases
- Experience creating and reporting Defects
- Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Four year college degree or extensive experience in application test planning and execution for enterprise application(s)
- 5+ years direct experience as a tester for major application integration and/or major application product release
Nice to Have
- Experience with API Testing (Postman / Insomnia)
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr) / TestRail
- Experience executing SQL queries
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience with communication tools like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint
