About This Role

Conduct oral healthcare research studies by ensuring participants meet criteria, documenting health histories, performing intraoral exams, and overseeing dental staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure study participants meet written requirements and criteria for Oral Healthcare (OHC) research studies
• Review research protocols and understand study methodology
• Document health histories and safety checks in study specific Case Report Forms (CRF) ensuring good documentation practices
• Welcome research participants, show them to the dental chair, and walk them through intraoral exams for research and dental screening processes
• Perform intraoral exams for screening per study protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Conduct post-study product use intraoral exams for safety assessments
• Ensure safety of study participants on active research studies
• Perform visual dental screenings including intra oral examination, photos, bite registrations, impressions, cast models, use of oral scanner and appliance fit
• Prepare teeth whitening trays and deliver them
• Perform in-office whitening procedures
• Oversee dental hygienists/assistants on staff via direct or indirect supervision

Requirements

• Active dental license in Washington state and insurance
• Must be present or provide indirect oversight during assigned schedule on-site at Bothell, WA
• Good Clinical Practice training
