Warehouse Manager I

About This Role

Manage and oversee all warehouse operations including budget, personnel, shipping, receiving, inventory, and facility maintenance for Swire Coca-Cola. This role ensures efficient and compliant performance of warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage total warehouse operations, budget, personnel, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Supervise loading and unloading of semi-tragers, ensuring accurate paperwork
• Oversee or process and key inventory into the computer daily, resolving all variances
• Order and review incoming product to assure proper inventory levels, stock rotation, and minimize out-of-stocks
• Effectively supervise, interview, hire, direct, and terminate Warehouse Department staff, providing appropriate training and performance feedback
• Provide leadership and motivation to staff through effective delegation, goal-setting, and communication
• Assume responsibility for the effective maintenance of warehouse facilities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and security
• Prepare all associated documents, invoices, and reports
• Create orders for Contract Customers and run DRP for Sales Centers

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• 10+ years progressive experience in warehouse management
• Inventory experience
• General warehouse experience
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory practices and procedures
• Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Familiarity with plant equipment and maintenance requirements
• Familiar with computer operation for inventory control
• Knowledge of SAP computer system

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• 10+ years progressive experience in warehouse management

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of KO KORE and ISO quality standards in a soft drink environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for facilities
