Provide technical assistance and support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) mainframe environment. Resolve software issues, develop new processes, and conduct user acceptance testing, primarily focusing on EDI, RF Data Collection, and programming.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance with the WMS mainframe environment
- Resolve, recommend, and/or assist in WMS software issues, procedures, development, and execution of new processes
- Support all users of the WMS, predominantly focusing on EDI, RF Data Collection, programming, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
- On-Site support the configuration of the WMS application
- Daily monitoring of WMS operations, with regular site visits
- Interface and consult with WMS provider for problem resolution, maintenance, and development
- Serve as a focal point, Super User, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of the WMS
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High Availability to support off-shift hours and weekends, as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expert understanding of EDI Communication, to include but not limited to Trading Partner Relationships, EDI Format Types (X12, EDIFACT, etc.), SAP, and Converting Flat Files
- Knowledge of Barcode Symbology
