Warehouse Lead

About This Role

The Warehouse Lead supports the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing order staging, loading processes, and inventory investigations. This role involves coordinating truck driver check-ins and check-outs, preparing and tracking loads, and performing hands-on warehouse duties like loading, picking, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating the staging and loading of orders
• Ensure accurate and timely loading of trucks according to schedules
• Communicate with team members for smooth operations
• Assist with truck driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate documentation
• Collaborate with the offsite logistics team (GBS) to ensure staging/loading opportunities
• Create emergency shipments if off-site support is unavailable outside standard hours
• Participate in the loading and unloading of trucks
• Assist with picking orders according to company standards and procedures
• Support other warehouse team members as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• 3+ years of experience in a Leadership position
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment and 3 years in leadership positions

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role
• Forklift certification
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• SAP exposure
• Previous Logistic experience
