Warehouse Driver

About This Role

This role is responsible for the logistics and delivery of materials between the warehouse and construction project sites, operating company vehicles and equipment, and providing manual labor support. It plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by maintaining the flow of materials and integrity of field operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles and forklifts to load, transport, and unload materials; conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery and inventory logs
• Receive and inspect shipments for damage, process orders according to established procedures, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including wood/metal saws, drills, and grinders, to assist with project needs
• Keep all tools, equipment, and vehicles on an established maintenance schedule
• Work effectively in field settings, often in adverse weather conditions, to meet project deadlines and support the broader construction team
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and upholding the Company’s commitment to core values and ethical conduct
• Communicate professionally with project teams and provide manual labor support for "all other duties as assigned" to ensure project success

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong general mechanical skills
• Ability to perform very heavy work (routinely lifts 25-75 lbs., occasionally 76-100+ lbs.)
• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to work overtime, if necessary
• Ability to learn, recall, and apply work procedures and rules relevant to job functions
• Ability to anticipate, evaluate, and consider the consequences of various actions when required to make on-the-job decisions without benefit of supervision
• Ability to identify and use common shop tools, instruments, and machines
• Ability to work in a team environment that requires cooperation with others
