Warehouse Associate

About This Role

The Warehouse Associate I supports warehouse operations by performing essential tasks such as loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. This role ensures products are accurately prepared, secured for transport, and handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup using secure packaging methods.
• Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Install protective devices like bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors with order fulfillment or material location.
• Drive company vehicles for material pick-up or delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Nice to Have

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
