Warehouse Associate

About This Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling, storing, and distributing automotive glass products, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves receiving shipments, organizing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining quality control to prevent damage to fragile products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass and related materials
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
• Conduct quality checks to ensure glass products are free from defects and meet company standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and participate in cycle counts
• Follow proper handling and safety procedures to minimize product damage and ensure workplace safety
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and properly storing materials
• Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow established procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience, especially handling fragile materials, is a plus

• Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping/receiving documentation
