Warehouse Associate

About This Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, tagging, and maintaining retail inventory and storage to ensure efficient operation and high customer service levels for a hospitality company in South Lake Tahoe.

Responsibilities

• Receive all inbound shipments accurately and input into Retail Pro system
• Tag and store all inbound merchandise
• Assist in ensuring warehouse inventory is tracked and recorded accurately for timely replenishment orders
• Assist in ensuring proper logistics of replenishment stock
• Assist in ensuring time-sensitive items are rotated daily and disposed of appropriately
• Assist the Retail Supervisor and/or Retail Manager with invoicing and voucher processing
• Manage and maintain the warehouse, ensuring it is neat, organized, and accessible
• Package and ship all retail outgoing shipments in a timely manner
• Actively participate in the Company's environmental program by reducing, reusing, and recycling packaging materials
• Maintain job related confidentiality
• Assist the Retail Sales Associates as needed

Requirements

• Ability to respond well to a changing work environment
• Strong knowledge of Retail Pro system
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to handle tasks involving frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting
• Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Two years warehouse experience preferred
