Warehouse Associate

About This Role

Support warehouse operations for a leading distributor of flooring and flooring installation products by processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders
• Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations
• Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process
• Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes
• Assist the branch in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness
• Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport
• Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and/or fulfillment experience
• Ability to lift over 75 lbs regularly
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Legally permitted to work in the United States

Nice to Have

• Forklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification
• Experience in the flooring and/or building materials industry
